Hey Faithbox Community,
We want to take a moment to introduce you to some of the amazing companies, organizations, and partners featured in our June 2020 Faithbox.
June’s Faithbox is unlike any other Faithbox we’ve ever put together!
You may not know this, but we work on curating products and items for each Faithbox anywhere from four to six months in advance in order to make sure we have enough products to fill each Faithbox with items you’ve come to love. But several months ago, when national and international governments forced shutdowns on non-essential businesses to help stop the spread of coronavirus, several of our June partners were required to halt production thus becoming unable to fulfill their orders.
Rather than scrambling and trying to find new products at a time when everything became so uncertain, we decided to create a variety of new boxes highlighting some of the incredible products from our various partners that we knew you’d enjoy.
These products come from companies like Acacia Creations, Matr Boomie, Reload Love, Haiti Made, Batey Girls, Kingdom Growers Coffee, Ten Thousand Villages, Aid Through Trade, VOICE TEA, Krochet Kids, and many more!
From the very beginning, Faithbox has been about helping companies like these make an impact all over the world! So know that your subscription is continuing to help change lives around the globe.
Take a moment to read a little more about some of the organizations included in June Faithbox and continue supporting their mission by following them on social media and shopping on their site.
Acacia Creations – Acacia Creations began back in 2007 when Maura, Acacia Creations’ founder, noticed that despite the wealth of talent, resourcefulness and determination in the camps, residents had few opportunities to earn a fair and dignified living. The missing component was opportunity, and Maura saw a simple solution: create employment and generate income through the rich handcraft traditions already thriving in the camps. Thanks to the work and the income generated through Acacia Creations, they’ve seen more and more families relying less on subsistence farming along with an overall improvement in quality of living.
